Banana bread?!
Answers: do you think it would be ok if i made my christmas banana bread now and froze it until until i gave them as gifts? thanks soo much!
yes you should be okay to freeze your bread. I would the loaves really well with cling wrap (saran wrap...some form of cling wrap!) and then wrap them with aluminium foil. If they will fit, you could go an extra step and put them in one of those gallon sized freezer bags that has freezer lock that is supposed to keep the food from getting frost bite.
You sure can. Just wrap it up good in Saran wrap and foil
I do it every year, and it works just fine. Wrap them good so they don't get freezer burn.
If you have the time, now is the time to do it.......most quick breads (such as banana bread, cranberry orange bread, etc.) can be frozen in the above mentioned methods for up to 3 months with no worry about freezer burn or picking up "off" flavors......Enjoy!!! Like I said, if you have the time, I'd do it now........you know how the time goes around the holidays......

yes it would be ok
Doing it just before christmas would be a much better option, banana bread becomes hard and less tasty when thawed
Here's a good recipe anyway:
