Steam it.

in our country, (Philippines) where it is in Asia
we eat rice everyday.... if not 3 times a day well atleast once a day...this is how we make our rice....
it will be much easier if you have a rice cooker, if not,,,
get a pot that u will use to cook the rice that has lid/cover
lets say u will cook 3 cups of rice....
3 cups of rice then add 5 cups of water....
put the heat in medium, until it boils or lets just say simmering
once it boils turn the heat low, and wait for about 15mins or so... constantly check the rice if it is done already...
and then walah! cook rice....

Steamed Rice
2 cups long-grained white rice
4 cups water
Rinse rice in a bowl of water, then drain. Repeat until water is clear. Combine rice and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit for 15 more minutes. Serve hot.

if you have a steamer you should have a rice insert . place the rice in this and turn the steamer on for 5 Min's. this creates a lot of washing up tho so in a saucepan is just as successful
