hash browns. heres a good recipe

2 lbs. (1 bag) frozen shredded hash browns
16 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. grated onion
2 c. (1 pt.) sour cream
2 cans cream of potato soup

Thaw hash browns and add all the other ingredients. Mix well and place in a 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Paprika and/or parsley flakes may be added before cooking for extra flavor. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees until potatoes are soft and cheese is bubbling.

a little smoked salmon with some toast points. serve capers and red onion on the side with cream cheese.

since it's an appetizer and not a meal you can get away with probably only buying one package of salmon and cutting it into smaller bite size pieces.

I like sausage balls, there is a good frozen kind you just stick in the oven and bake if you not a good cook. Or you can make chocolate gravy and biscuits. Its really more of a southern recipe and most people have never heard of it but trust me it is a delicious breakfast treat. You can get a recipe on-line but practice it several times before you take it to a gathering as its hard to make it right. Merry Christmas!!

u could bring fritata heres a recipe if u need one
frittata
ingrediants:
6 eggs
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic minced
1 tablespoon butter or margrine
3/4 cup chopped cooked meat or veggies
2 tablespoons parmesan

1.) beat eggs and pepper; set aside. In a 10 inch skillet cook onion and garlic in buttertill tender. Stir in veggies or meat.
2.) pour egg mixture into skillet over veggies or meat. Cook over medium heat. As mixture sets, run a spatula around edge of skillet, lifting egg mixture so the uncooked portion flows underneath. Continue cooking and lifting edges till the egg mixture is almost set (surface will be moist)
3.) Place the skillet under the broiler 4 to 5 inches from the heat. Brooil for 1 to 2 minutes or till top is just set. Sprinkle with cheese. Cut into wedges.
OVEN FRITTATA
prepare the same, except use an oven proof skillet. Pour egg mixture into the skillet. Bake in a 350 oven about 15 minutes or till a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

Fresh fruit skewers and a yogurt dip to go along with them.

Fruit is always tasty and healthy for a breakfast appetizer. Cut up strawberries, bananas, kiwi, mangos, blueberries, pineapple, and apples. Toss in a large bowl. Serve by itself or with lite whipped cream or vanilla yogurt. Delicious!!

Biscuts and gravy baby....best breakfast there is...
