"Recipe for Fried Vegan Cheese Sandwich, contributed by George Delaney

For a quick lunch that always tastes good, make a sandwich with two slices of good-quality bread. Instead of butter or margarine, spread the bread with a generous portion of tomato purée. Fill the sandwich with slices of vegan cheese and a few fresh basil leaves.

Using a pastry brush, lightly brush each side of the sandwich with olive oil. Then heat some more olive oil in a skillet and fry the sandwich on each side until it is golden brown.

I find that Soymage cheese always gives the best results in this recipe. Lacto-vegetarians can substitute their favorite hard dairy cheese."

slap it between 2 slices of bread

this is not funny - i am a certified moron, and even i can make a cheese sandwich

Put butter on both sides of bread then but on the griddle for about 30 seconds flip but cheese on top of one slice of bread the other slie ontop cook 30 seconds flip cook other side 30 seconds and you have a grilled cheese sandwich best with tomatoe soup

I'll give you 2 recipes.
1- 500g Feta Cheese, 1 medium Philadelphia Cheese, 1 small Glass Cheese, Mix all well together. Add some fresh or dried chopped mint, salt and pepper. Butter 2 slices of toast. Spread the Cheese mixture on slice of toast (not too little) and cover with the other slice.

2- 500g Processed Cheese in a glass. 3 hard boiled Eggs.
Mix the cheese and eggs together until it is a smooth paste. Add some salt and pepper if needed. Cut 2 medium cucumbers in very thin slices. Butter two slices of toast. Spread the cheese-egg-mixture on one slice. Put on top some cucumber slices and cover with the other toast slice.

Bob appetite
