Can I substitute Red Wine vinegar for Balsamic in recipes?!

Question: I don't care for the taste of the Balsamic Vinegar

Answers: I don't care for the taste of the Balsamic Vinegar

Yes, as long as the recipe isn't calling for a balsamic reduction, you can substitute the red wine. It will be a lighter flavor than balsamic, and if it's calling for a balsamic reduction you really should use balsamic, but otherwise you'll be fine!

Absolutely - there may be some exceptions with recipes disigned specifically around the balsamic taste, otherwise you can always substitute one type for another.

Yes you can, balsamic is a vinegar as well. Different dishes call for the different vinegars but this is usually the chef's decision.

Yes. The flavor will be different. Balsamic vinegar is very nice in very small portions!

You can pretty much use whatever kind of vinegar you want. I prefer champagne vinegar.
