Well, cupcakes are just cakes baked in smaller pans, so pretty much any kind of cake could be baked as cupcakes, and they can be frosted with any cake frosting.

Here are some sites with cupcake recipes:

Chocolate cupcakes with choc frosting.
Vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing tinted with food colouring to any colour you wish.
Banana cupcakes with cream cheese icing.
Cherry cupcakes with cherry frosting.

It's easy to make cupcakes with any sort of cake mix,any flavour you like.Betty Crocker and Duncan Hines make very good cake mixes.
They also have ready made icings in a can. Both Betty Crocker and Duncan Hines.
Go to the grocery store and choose out exactly what you'd like.Have fun making them,Just follow the directions.
Have a wonderful b'day and also Merry Christmas.

u got to be kidding me. Happy 14th Birthday!!!
carrot
vanilla
funfetti
red velvet
chocolate
marble
vanilla
angel food cake
strawberry

Butterfly cakes!
theyre really cool, you just make the mixture like normal cupcakes, cut the lumpy top off in one stroke, and cus that bit in half, then you put some cream, or icing on top and cut the lid bit in half then stick them to the icing and it looks like butterfly wings :)
maybe type it into google recipes, they can explain it better than me lol

Just buy a cake! why do u want cupcakes instead of a cake? its the same stuff!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO U!!!

How about:
white cake
yellow cake
chocolate cake
chocolate fudge cake
funfetti cake
red velvet
carrot cake
angel food cake
cheesecake (individual ones are hard to make, so I suggest something easier than that)

The yellow, white, chocolate, and chocolate fudge cakes go well with either chocolate icing and white/buttercream icing. Make a variety of cupcakes, to match other peoples' tastes, and same with the frostings... There are numerous varieties so you can choose which ones you would like to have. Also ask other people which of those are their favorites, and then you can decide from there :)

Hope this helps :)

urggg!!!!theres too many!i like..
-chocolate w/ chocolate frosting
-vanilla w/ chocolat frosting and spinkles
-vanilla/vanilla,no sprinkles
-yellow cup cake w/ choco frosting
-yellow w/ vanilla frosting
-yellow cake w/ straberry frosting
-yellow cake w/starberry and sprinkles
-chocolate with cherries in it and vanilla frosting

haha.they r like all the same but im pretty picky!

Well~~~
Happy birthday young man.
The cupcakes are limited only by your imagination.
What flavor cake is your favorite?
What flavor icing?
That is the flavor cupcake you can have.
BTW~`If you are using a cake mix~~~and icing mix~~
You will be making the same amount of cake.
It will be divided into smaller cakes.
That is the ONLY difference between a cake and cupcakes.
It will be easier to store the cupcakes~~but you have the same amount of food.

Honey, this is the perfect cupcake for you. I made these for my dau. all through grade school and the kids begged for them. They are easy and you don't need to frost them because they make their own.

Brownie Cupcakes

Mix together 4 eggs, 1-3/4 cup sugar, 1 cup flour.
Melt 2 sticks oleo, 4 squares semi sweet chocolate.
Add 1 tsp vanilla.
Mix together and add 2 cups chopped pecans.

Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes.

They make their own frosting. Yield 24

OMG you are so precious, I hope you have a really fantastic birthday, Im glad that you're comfortable enough with yourself to ask a question like this...Happy 14! OK, so I don't bake, but grew up in a home where there was baking going on, occasionally I paid attention, my Mom always bought a cupcake mix called Jiffy, really easy, you can have: cherry cupcakes w/vanilla frosting, yellow(?) cupcakes with chocolate frosting, if u want mocha or cinnamon I would recommend buying flavoring and just add to the frosting, you could also do a banana nut cupcake with mocha frosting, Betty Crocker makes good ready to spread frostings... I say just take your Mom or go to the store by yourself, go to the cake aisle, wait til a woman comes by who knows what she's doing(or a guy, believe me, I've gotten dates this way, but you're too young for dating, I digress...) and just say, "excuse me, I'm not sure what I'm doing..." and just ask whatever question you want about what you would like. My experience is whomever you ask will be more than willing to help, most shoppers are super nice, just pay attention and remember to thank them. Above all else, have a great birthday and be thankful for your good health and youth, you sound like a nice guy, I hope you have fun!

My specialty: desserts

Right. Again with the birthday worries. Lets see...I know a lot of people who drool over chocolate batter with vanilla icing. Or, you could do vise versa with vanilla batter with chocolate icing, just incase someones allergic to one or the other. It's good to have variations, that way you're prepared for someone who might not like/want/or feel like eating just one kind of cupcake.

Personally, I love cupcakes, but cookies are better. In your situation, just ask people at school what kind of cupcakes they like. I know, it'll take forever, but if you want a decision, you need other peoples input.

Here's some batter ideas...:
-Chocolate
-Vanilla
-Yellow Cake
-Angel Cake [that's good]
-Carrott [...not so much]
-Funfetti [because everyone else is saying it]
-Double chocolate chip.

Frosting is easy. Just do chocolate or vanilla; the classics. Everyone likes one or the other. Or, you don't really even need frosting.

You could also do fillings:
-Carmel [dies and goes to heaven]
-Chocolate chips
-Nuts [allergy possibility]

My head hurts. So, that's what I'll leave you with. Happy 14th.
