Can a bag of innerds be cooked inside a turkey?!
Answers: no. and, i'm NOT coming to your house for dinner.
yes.
Yes, unfortunately. Did you forget to remove them when you defrosted the turkey? lol
ARE U NUTS? LOL WAT IS INNERDS ANYWAY???
No
sure...why not?
yes but take them out of the bag! obviously
suppose so but YAK YAK YAK the very thought of it lol
If you don't want to cook the turkey hollow (ie. no stuffing), I cannot see why not, they aren't poisonous. Just take them out of the bag they come in. Don't see why you would want to, though.
I've done it before on accident.
You can but why....
Yes! I did it by mistake, and it turned out okay. Sounds like you're as pitiful as I am. Poor baby.
It can be, but should it be? No. The offal is much more prone to nasty bacteria. If you simply must do it, be sure to take them out of the plastic bag.
yep, when you forget their in there. they say you shouldn't eat them though. the best way is to cook them on the stove in water until their tender.
Remove from the bag and replace the innards to cook(plastic cooked like that does not taste well!)
If you do not have any stuffing it will have to do, but certainly wouldn't recommend it. Your guests might not want to come next year!
It can, but it wouldn't be good if you left em in the bag....
The innards are the neck, heart, liver, gizzard, maybe something else. You can fry up the livers and hearts in butter with some onions and beer-totally yummy served over rice! the gizzard is kind of hard and chewy--Id give it to the cats or dogs raw. the neck and other insides are usually reserved to put in a pot of water with celery, onions, carrots and some herbs to cook down and make a broth or stock for later use to make gravy. You can cut up the liver and hearts and put them in the gravy....Mmm, now I want to roast a turkey!
Happens all the time. Although it's better to remove them first.
Good eats.
Yes, they can. On Thanksgiving my husband smoked a turkey. He swore there was no bag inside the turkey. When we cut it open, lo and behold, there was a bag.
The bag was fine and everything in it was cooked just perfectly. I didn't eat any of it myself, I think the crap in the bag is disgusting.
But, I've learned from experience, you can cook the bag of innerds inside the turkey with no problems.
