****Are you timing your Boil from the time it actually starts a full rolling boil or are you timing it from the time it starts to get hot. You have to boil it for 1 full minute, Try Boiling it a little bit longer, this recipe has always turned out for me.

NO BAKE CHOCOLATE OATMEAL COOKIES
1 stick butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. oats
Boil butter, cocoa, milk, sugar, vanilla and peanut butter for 1 minute. Add oats and mix well. Spoon out onto wax paper.

make sure you cook the chocolate and sugar cook long enough. cut back on a little peanut butter.add touch more oats.

Well now we are talking about NO BAKE here. They'r not supposed to harden, supposed to be soft & chewy. If you want them hard just let them sit out on the table to dry out for a couple of days, uncovered or only very lightly covered with wax paper so save anything dropping on them.

Guess what, you'r doing it right! Bingo!

sounds like you didn't cook it long enough....important to time it....good luck!
