50/50 chance I used pork instead of beef???!

Question: I had some meat in my freezer that I only put in there a few months ago, but i forgot to label it. It could be steaks or pork chops. Neither have bones. Is my stew going to be nasty?

Absolutely not if you had a good recipe to start with it should be just fine, maybe even better...can I get a bowl ? LOL

no its just gonna b different u might actually like it better

people Make stews with pork.... if you add beef bullion no one will ever know the difference.... A good cook never tells///

will work either way.... should have been able to tell the differants pork chops would have been smaller pink steaks would been big and red

No, IMO, pork makes just as good a stew as beef does......so don't worry about it......if the meat has been frozen for "a few months", I'd thaw it out and proceed with your stew recipe in a slow cooker (crock pot).......You can find some killer recipes for, say, Chili Verde (Latin style Pork Chili in a green sauce, which is really delicious) on the Food Network.com.......Enjoy, and this is the season for soups and stews, they warm the stomach, heart and soul......and are very tasty to boot!!!

No it will be great. Bet you remember to label the package next time.

lmao how could u not know?? pork chops are light pink steak is dark red anyways it wont make a diffrence if it is pork the meat will be white wen cooked and steak will be brown so then u will no for sure. im sure it will taste really nice no matter what meat it is
