Anybody who knows how to make chocolate mudslide pie?!
Answers: My stepdaughter mentioned to me she loves chocolate mudslide pie for dessert and I wanna make one for her, just to make her day. somebody pls help :) Anyway her sister loved the leche flan I made for her. Thanks to those who gave me the recipe. My stepdaughters and I are more close to each other now than it used to be and it really makes me feel good when I can do something to make their day bright. They are 17 and 14 yrs old, wonderful kids and I love them to death.
Chocolate Mudslide Frozen Pie
Chocolate crumb crust is spread with a mixture of sour cream, melted chocolate morsels and coffee. Covering that is a whipped topping followed by a sprinkling of mini chocolate morsels.

Preparation - 20 min | Cooking - 3 min | Cooling Time - 6 hrs freezing | Yields - 8
Ingredients:
1 prepared 9-inch (6 ounces) chocolate crumb crust
1 cup (6 ounces) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 teaspoon Instant Coffee Granules
1 teaspoon hot water
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup Baking Cocoa
2 tablespoons Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels
Directions:
MELT 1 cup morsels in small, heavy-duty saucepan over lowest possible heat. When morsels begin to melt, remove from heat; stir. Return to heat for a few seconds at a time, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat; cool for 10 minutes.
COMBINE coffee granules and water in medium bowl. Add sour cream, granulated sugar and vanilla extract; stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in melted chocolate until smooth. Spread into crust; refrigerate.
BEAT cream, powdered sugar and cocoa in small mixer bowl until stiff peaks form. Spread or pipe over chocolate layer. Sprinkle with mini morsels. Freeze for at least 6 hours or until firm.

Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips in the microwave or in a small saucepan.
Cool for ten minutes.
In a small bowl, dissolve instant coffee in hot water.
Add sour cream, sugar and vanilla and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Blend in melted chocolate.
Spread in crust and set aside.
In a small mixing bowl, beat confectioner's sugar, cocoa and cream until stiff peaks form.
Smooth evenly over pie, or pipe with a pastry bag fitted with star tip.
Sprinkle with additional chocolate chips.
Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or until firm.

7 ounces chocolate cookie crumbs, plus more for garnish
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3 (1-quart) containers coffee ice cream
Chocolate sauce
Chopped nuts (optional)
Using a large mixing bowl, place cookie crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the ingredients are well blended and moist. Keep mixture at room temperature until needed for pie shells.
Lightly spray 2 pie tins with vegetable oil. Place the prepared crust into the pie tins and press firmly on the bottom and sides of each tin, forming a smooth and even thickness approximately 1/8-inch thick. Use a ladle to even out the crusts. Place piecrusts in freezer before ice cream can be placed into crusts.
Equally portion the ice cream into the pie shells. Mound the ice cream to create a 3-inch high dome. Use a glove and napkin to help with this process. Place pies on a sheet pan and place in the freezer for approximately 6 hours or more.
To serve, Drizzle with chocolate sauce and sprinkle with more cookie crumbs and chopped nuts, if desired.
