Question about "Paula Deen Celebrates"?!

Question: If you own one of the first edition copies that are signed, I have a question for you. Is the autograph real, or is it a print? Thanks, any help will be MUCH appreciated.

Look at the ink color. Is it the same as the print in other areas of the book? She had many copies "lithographed" of her signature in the book as many other famous authors also do and they call them autographed.

A true autographed book was signed by the author to somebody. In another words a short note like "To Joe" or "Good luck in your cooking dreams" then the autograph, are usually hand signed. The above are only examples but, I am not an autograph professional, although I have many autographed books, some from sales and some signed especially for me. In most cases Autographs are signed using a perminant marker for some reason.

Let me help you out again, Paula has four books that are "autographed", Paula Deen's Kitchen Classics, Savannah Country Cookbook, The Lady & Sons, Too, The Lady & Sons Just Desserts, all others that are "pre-signed" are part of the Litho. The reason they "pre-sign" is to distinguish reprint editions. I sure hope I helped you in your quest, good luck.
