The Evil Chef frowns upon using canned sauces.
If you want real homade spagetti take the tiime and make a homemade sauce.
you'll be glad you did.
Add onions, garlic, mushrooms, green pepper.
After browning your ground beef and draining any fat from it, add salt pepper, a little garlic and oregano. Chop up onions, and peppers...green/red or what ever color you feel like choosing. Add your spaghetti sauce and simmer. Sprinkle with cheese when serving.
Add sliced black olives and mushrooms.
Personally, here is how I make mine....
Fry ground beef-
Mix in crock pot- ground beef, ragu chunky sauce, chopped onions, bell peppers and mushrooms.
Add 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning.
Cook on Low 4-5 hours
Pour over cooked pasta and serve with Garlic bread and garden salad.
Brown the ground beef with a bit of diced onion.
Drain off any excess fat.
Add diced peppers(red, green, yellow etc.) and some mushrooms. You can add finely grated carrot if you like.
Season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic, oregano etc.
Add the sauce and let simmer till vegetables are just tender.
Place over spaghetti noodles and top with grated parmesean cheese.
Serve with caeser salad and garlic toast.
YUMMY.
sorry I have no idea what you like
stick to the ragu and do nothing..
as you munch down keep a note of what you miss...
Saute onions,Green Peppers with ground beef. Add a can of Mushrooms. If you have some balsamic vinegar put a 1/4 cup. Chop some black olives stir all together and simmer for a few minutes.
I add a small can of tomato paste, a can of tomatoe puree, red wine and a bit of water along with fresh mushrooms and onions. I cook as long as I can, all day if possible. I also add mild Italian sausage. I let it cook all day and it tastes fabulous.
As a side I serve asparagus, acorn squash either cut in half, seeded with butter and brown sugar, or I slice them and spread them with butter, seasoned with salt & pepper. Green salad is also fabulous with pasta. Of course, fresh bread either fresh with butter, or baked with garlic butter.
