My church is having a Christmas program this Sunday and I want to bring some appetizers. Any suggestions..?!

Question: that would go good with coffee, cocoa, tea, cookie and finger sandwiches? Thanks.

For our church get togethers my mom would make a homemade pizza on a square cookie sheet and them cut them into small squares for appetizers. They were always a big hit. She would make plain cheese, sausage and a ricotta and broccoli one. We never had any leftovers! :) You can buy the Pillsbury roll-out pizza crust in a square shape, buy tomato sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese and basically all the work is done for you! :) Everyone enjoys them because it's a nice break from just sandwich stuff. ;)

sausage balls are a good choice

cheese, meat or fruit platters would be good

This has always been a hit for me...

1 small jar dried beef
1 8oz. Pkg. Cream Cheese (Softened)
3 Green Onions (chopped)
1 tsp. Garlic Powder

Chip up the beef and mix into softened cream cheese, add onions and garlic and mix well. Using Saran wrap (or similar) form mixture into a ball and refrigerate overnight. Sit out approx. 15 minutes before serving with your favorite crackers.

Merry Christmas

viggies & dip, cheese & crakers, apple slices & carmel dip.

if you dont like any of them go to allrecipes.com

Fresh fruit, or celery sticks.

If the coffee is too hot, they can use a fruit slice to cool it down.

chicken, noodles, or some little mints with pee nuts, or some a vegtable boul

Ritz crackers and this dip they put on the back of their boxes, look it up online, w/ cheese, ham, and cream cheese, most delicious thing in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A big kabob platter. Make a kabob with fruit (grapes, strawberries, banana slices, peach slices, pineapple, kiwi, etc); a kabob with cheese cubes, ham/turkey/chicken cubes, cherry tomatoes, olives, etc; or a sweets kabob with different kinds of doughnut holes, marshmallows, chocolates, rolo type candies, or whatever you'd like.

Other ideas are chex mix, chocolate covered pretzels/marshmallows/strawberries/pinea... peppermint fudge, peanut brittle. If you do chocolate covered treats, consider using white chocolate tinted with green or red food coloring to make it more Christmasy!

Garden Veggie Pizza Squares

INGREDIENTS

* 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
* 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
* 1 (1 ounce) package Ranch-style dressing mix
* 2 carrots, finely chopped
* 1/2 cup chopped red bell peppers
* 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
* 1/2 cup fresh broccoli, chopped
* 1/2 cup chopped green onions

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. Roll out crescent rolls onto a large non-stick baking sheet. Stretch and flatten to form a single rectangular shape on the baking sheet. Bake 11 to 13 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Allow to cool.
3. Place cream cheese in a medium bowl. Mix cream cheese with 1/2 of the ranch dressing mix. Adjust the amount of dressing mix to taste. Spread the mixture over the cooled crust. Arrange carrots, red bell pepper, broccoli and green onions on top. Chill in the refrigerator approximately 1 hour. Cut into bite-size squares to serve.

*I also add one 8 oz. pkg. finely shredded cheddar cheese along with the carrots, red bell pepper, broccoli and green onions.
**These are always a big hit at my house when I have get togethers and easier than it may sound to make. =)

Buy some pretzel rods and dip half way up in chocolate or almond bark. Then just get creative and roll them while still hot in different candies...such as peppermint bits,mini m&m's, crushed butterfingers, toffee bits, rice krispies and anything else you can think of ....these are a hit and can be made it advance...they taste really good to...its so hard to decide which one's taste best....enjoy! If you want to keep it easy you can take melted bark (either choc. or almond) and add nuts or crushed peppermints or anything...then spoon out on wax paper and allow to set...super easy and also a bit hit!
