1-cal spray oil... is it any good?!
Answers: Someone gave me a botte of this stuff and I've never used it before, when I sprayed in on the frying pan it came out white!! Is this stuff really ok for doing roast potaoes and roast veg etc?
I don't use anything else! Most of the time, the butter called for in skillets and stirfrying is more than enough so a few seconds of spray does the trick! Spray your pan, let it heat up, throw in the food and cook as you wish. If the food begins to stick to the pan, spray the food some, no problem. It's absolutely wonderful and it will last a really long time!
it's fine - i've used it a million times. it only looks white because it froths up when being sparayed out.
My mum swears by it. Its reccomended by slimming world and she lost weigh using it!
I've never used that stuff for cooking. Maybe you have something different. I have the salad spritz and I really like it. It probably came out white because most of that stuff is soy oil and it reacts different to heat that regular cooking oil.
I just the I can't believe it's not butter spay.. that has no calories in it...
below is a website that has info on the butter spray.
:-)
I've used it for ages. I think it's great. It comes out white when it's cold, but looks like oil when heated.
YES IT IS GOOD AND ALSO GOOD FOR YOU!!!
yes, but i find it very smokey
I do use it for most things but not for roast potatoes or fried eggs.
Yes I use it for everything even spraying my baking trays, and instead of melting butter when using filo pastry the spray is brill, and a lot healthier for you my doctor recomended that I bought the Rapeseed oil, and olive oil one and I have been using it faithfully for months now. You can also get it in butter taste. It might be expensive to start buying but it is actuallyq the equivalent of 7 litres of oil, and yes it is meant to come out as white. You should spray it on a cold pan never hot.
