Anyone have a good Stewed Beef recipe?!
Spicey Beef Curry Stew
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound beef stew meat
salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
1 fresh jalapeno peppers, diced
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice
1 onion, sliced and quartered
1 cup beef broth
DIRECTIONS
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, and brown the beef on all sides. Remove from skillet, reserving juices, and season with salt and pepper. Cook and stir the garlic, ginger, and jalapeno in the skillet for 2 minutes, until tender, and season with curry powder. Mix in the diced tomatoes and juice.
Place the onion in the bottom of a slow cooker, and layer with the browned beef. Scoop the skillet mixture into the slow cooker, and mix in the beef broth.
Cover, and cook 6 to 8 hours on Low.

2 pounds cubed beef stew meat
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons margarine
1 onion, chopped
4 carrots, sliced
3 stalks celery, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 cups water
DIRECTIONS
Dredge beef cubes in flour until evenly coated.
Melt butter in saute pan and saute coated beef cubes until evenly brown.
Transfer beef to slow cooker and add onions, carrots, celery, garlic, bay leaves, salt, sugar, pepper, paprika, cloves, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Pour in water and stir.
Cover and cook on Low 10 to 12 hours or on High 5 to 6 hours. Serve hot!!

it's hard for me to give you a recipe, cuz I don't know the measurements but I use:
cube steak
potatoes
carrots
onions
green peppers
recaito
sofrito
tomato paste
lil fresh tomato
seasonings:
adobo - the red one
sazon
seasoning salt
garlic
a lil black pepper
a lil bit of chives
put it all in a crock pot or big pot and let it cook slow, all day long till the beef is tender and falling apart. (i brown the meat some before i put it in the pot though)
Nope.. but I got a heffty wooden spoon to taste it with right out the pot.. lmao.. can you imagine that shyt.. a nia over yo pot with a big azz shrek wood spoon.. talkin bout.. um.. needs more salt! lamo.... Rollin!!!

spanish restaurant around Queens.The puerto
ricans and the dominicans are excellent making
stew beef.I had that Friday in Richmonh hill Queens.
