When you have a ready meal, do you eat it straight out of the container or try to be posh.....?!
And don't tell me you NEVER eat them cos a) I won't believe you and b) I'll feel sorry for you cos you'll never know how yummy an M&S Chicken Tikka Masala is.
:-)
Answers: ....and put it on a plate?

straight out of the container lol why wash more dishes
LOL well i eat them right out of the container!!! Why be posh when it is from the microwave.. I also drink my pop from a can and if i do drink a beer no thank you to the glass i will just drink it straight out of the can !!!
I put them out on a dish but then i feel even more hungry because the size of it,they always look like there's going to be loads but i end up eating a loaf of bread after it.
out of the container
Oh man right out of the container! If you look at it like this it isn't very posh to eat a packaged meal!!!
So why would you insult the intelligence of other people by serving it on a plate!
Hell I just love the Banquet T.V. dinners. And yes I do watch T.V. when eating it.
Lol! Well believe me or not Ms Minger, I don't eat them.
Straight out of the container. Why add to the dishes!
M&S Chicken Tikka Masala would not be yummy for me I am a vegetarian.
However in answer to your question, I put the container onto a plate, and eat ready meals out of the container, the plate fits better on my lap, and usually doesn't get dirty.
Or are you too posh to eat meals off your lap?
I detest eating out of containers or on plastic dishes or with plastic utensils. So I put it on a proper plate and use proper utensils. It has nothing to do with being posh at all. I don't even like drinking out of plastic or styrofoam. It has to be glass or crockery. The only time I will do it is if I'm eating that type of food and I'm out somewhere.
straight from the container, its tastes better and saves washing a plate.xx
I have to say I DON'T eat them, and please don't feel sorry for me,I love cooking and nothing, yes nothing including a M&S Chicken Masala can beat a freshly cooked homemade meal.
I am eating that M&S Chicken Tikka Masala straight out of the little black dish.
Forget the plate - I like scraping the gooey edges.
There's alot of chicken in here.
I some times eat frozen microwave curries. when I'm in a hurry cos' kids have to be taken out some where. But all ways on a plate. Usually with chapati or some times rice, with little finger pointing skywards.
I usually put it on a plate because
1) I think I'm posher than I am
2) I usually have a salad or something with them
I love ready meals.
Definitely out of the container. Saves the washing up.
I usually eat them out of the container, but sometimes it's nice to put it on a plate. It has nothing to do with being "posh," I'm just a college student. It's more satisfying and I can sit and enjoy my meal more when I don't feel like I'm scarfing it out of a box. Also when I add more to the meal, which is most of the time since they're so small, everything fits better on a plate together.
Also, don't assume everyone eats them. I ate them frequently when I lived in the dorms, but now that I have an apartment and kitchen I prefer to cook my own food. Now they're just a last resort
I NEVER eat ready meals as they are disgusting and make you fat,i can cook very well and even grow my own veg and i don't own a microwave,i feel sorry for you!
It depends how easy it is to put on a plate. If its a curry or chilli I like to put it on a plate because then you can easily mix together the curry and rice if you want but with a fish pie or lasagne I usually eat it from the container! It looks horrible and messy if you try and dish it onto a plate with those kind of meals anyway.
Always off a plate, just because it's easier, plus I usually eat pasta ready meals, so I put a little side salad on it too.
out of the container. saves on washing up
Straight out of the container,That way only one fork to wash.
funny you should say that, we sit on the floor to eat chippy so we don't get grease on the table. but we do use forks, i cant bear the kids wiping curry sauce on the carpet tiles.
