Is there something I can use as a substitute for mustard on ham?!

Question: The recipe calls for Dijon mustard and orange marmalade to be slathered on the outside of the ham but I have a family member that does not like mustard. Just curious if anyone had a suggestion for what would compliment the orange flavor other than mustard. Thanks!!

Mix the orange marmalade with brown sugar.

Add a little apple cider vinegar to your marmalade. Don't thin it out too much.If dijon is the problem, any mustard would be fine. If you just have a family member who can't stand mustard serve chicken

I wonder if lemon juice could be substituted for the mustard. It would give the mixture something tart.

I use this.
1/2 cup or so Catalina salad dressing
1 cup orange marmalade
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Mix together. If to thick add more catalina if to thin add more marmalade.

I agree with your family member 100%.....I would not think too many people would like that mustard flavor. This is the first time I have heard of it. The recipes I have read usually say marmalade and brown sugar.

I usually make a glaze out of whole cranberry sauce and orange marmalade or orange juice. Comes out amazing every time!!
