Formula for cooking brown rice?!

Question: I have figured out a fail safe formula for cooking white rice.
Double the water, microwave for 15 + minutes until water is no longer showing.
I know brown rice needs more water, twice as much water as rice won't do it. And needs longer cooking time. But I get different results every time I try it.
Does anyone else cook brown rice in microwave, and what's the formula?

It's really difficult to cook rice in a microwave. Its cool that you figured out how to do it with white rice.

The problem with brown rice is that the water content in the grains can vary. So one time you cook it, it will be underdone, the next time overdone. You might try converted brown rice.

My advice to you is to get a rice cooker. It's quick, and rice never burns or comes out undone. Best $15 I ever spent on kitchen gadgets.

Cover it with water & leave it about two hours, then wash it & cook it. I never cook the brown rice directly, it'll take time.
