Flapjack will use Oats, dried fruit and nuts.

Christmas Cake is a good one, nuts in the cake, make the apricots into Jam to stick the marzipan on with (use the ground almonds to make that).

Porridge with nuts and apricots?

heaps,too much to write
Orange almond syrup cake
Lime almond crescents
All greek sweets(baklawa)
mixed nut filled cigars dipped in syrup
Almond,lemon poppy seed cakes
Anzac biscuits
You can substitute 1/2 the flour&replace with equivelent ground almonds to almost any recipie for a moister cake.
Alot of ethnic dishes use these things try recipies from india, middle east ect.
Try adding nuts to rice salads(pistachio&cranberry)&couscouc dishes, also some great italian desserts.
Have fun with it...
PS:all FIJI- indian sweets use nuts,eg;halwa

I guess any kinds of nuts is really good to mix for cakes and biscuits, it is all in the matter of techniques and styles in making them yummy or yummier............just do the hotch-potch combination, I tell you they come out alright..come on they are all eatables, dont fear to experiment.I am really good at that........exprerimenting~~~believe me and try it~~~

you can mix grind the oatmeal to a powder and use it in place of flour to make some pancakes. Throw in some of those walnuts and maybe some chopped apples. Another swing on the pancake recipe is to use juice instead of water.
If those are dried apricots, you can make a plain biscotti dough and then add your chopped apricots and maybe some smashed brazil nuts. If the apricots are fresh, make some jam.
you can also make some fudge or brownies and add the nuts into them and top them off with the ground almonds.
