Cookie Recipe???!

Question: I'm looking for a recipe that was featured in the Springfield Missouri News Leader a couple of months ago. It was an old family recipe and the cookies were little butter cookies that were about the size of a quarter and they would take two of them and sandwich them together and in the middle put a little bit of melted chocolate. I've looked on the papers website and can't find them but there was a full page spread on this recipe. If you have the recipe or one similar please post it. Thanks.
