Answers: I wold like some great recipes & ideas for dips .. and for finger foods .. for Christmas.

I have a couple you could try, they're very good.

1. Potato skins

First Step: Take some potatoes and put em in a 350 degree (celsius) oven for an hour. Then take them out and cut them in half.

Optional step: Scoop out the insides so it makes a little dip in the potato about 1/2 inch from the skin (I say "optional" because they're usually so hot at this point that it would burn your fingers to do this, so sometimes I skip the scooping and just leave them cut in half)

Second Step: Sprinkle your favorite cream cheese over top of the potato insides, and then sprinkle some of your favorite cheese on top. (I usually find that red pepper cream cheese and swiss cheese make a really good combination)

Third Step: Put back in the oven and cook for 20-30 minutes more until potatoes are soft enough to eat.

2. Cooked Broccoli (At first glance this might not appeal to you, but trust me, it's really good-and I'm pretty finicky at what I eat, I can tell you :) )

First Step: Cut up 2 stalks of brocolli and put in a pan.

Second Step: Season with salt and pepper to taste (or even chili pepper or garlic salt) and drizzle oil onto them.

Third Step: Cook in the oven for 15 minutes.

Hope this helps ya out a bit :) You could probably find other appetizer recipes on the food network site.
