Pie without the crust?!

Question: I have a recipe for buttermilk pie but I don't have a crust and don't feel like making a crust. Can I just bake the filling ingredients in the pie pan and would I have to adjust oven tempurature or anything else? Any help would be appreciated

Yes, the filling doesn't care if it has a crust or not. You can do custard pie this way as well.

how about Impossible Buttermilk Pie? Do you have biquick?
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Bisquick mix
1 cup buttermilk
1 stick butter (melted)
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs

Mix ingredients together: Beat until smooth; pour into pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. This pie makes its own crust.

smash up a 1/2 sleeve of graham crackers and 2 tablespoons of melted putter and press it into the bottom of the pie pan, bake it for 8 minutes at 375, let it cool then add the pie filling.
