How long would it take to cook a chicken breast on a george foreman grill?!
I am not interested in pounding it thinner.
Answers: you know... the small inside ones. It's a thicker breast.

Mine isn't a George Forman brand, but is essentially the same. It takes about 5-7 minutes for a thick chicken breast. Check its doneness by pressing on the piece of chicken with the flat of a fork to check that it is firm all the way through. If it feels like it is ready, cut it open to check that there is no pink left inside.
About 15 minutes tops....
Depends but i'd say about 15 minutes.
TILL ITS DONE
7 mins ? thick can vary a lot . it should be browned on both sides and cut it to test it . it should be all white / no pink in color. enjoy it !
not long for chicken breast otherwise it goes tuff. maybe marinade it first.
lol your funny and you can't cook
...I had no idea you could cook a chicken on a George Foreman grill.
as long as it needs.
rule of thumb is just to cook chicken through until it's no longer pink but white throughout...
til its done woot woot 2 points!
Usually about 10 or 15 minutes but sometimes if it's a thicker one, I cut it in half and do it, and I always cut it open to make sure it's done inside.
It will take about 2 hours if you like your chicken done.
Boneless? about 6-8 minutes
with the bone, I'm not sure -- cut a small slit in it and see if there is any pink left -- if there is, cook it a little longer.
if it's thick, about 8-10 minutes... they cook pretty quickly... NOT 15! U will have a burnt chick!
If it has no bones about 10 min.
you could instead throw it out and buy a tofu chicken and save a innocent life
No more than 20 minutes, assuming it's fresh and not frozen. Just make sure there's no blood and/or no pink coloration in the middle.
If it is not frozen about 6-7 minutes you will know when it is done by cutting it in the middle and it white. Frozen will take a few minutes longer and it might get the outside a little too done before inside is cooked enough.
Instead of pounding it thinner, slice it lengthwise into thinner pieces. I usually slice a thick breast into 3 filets and grill them very quickly to keep them juicy. If you do this, it will probably take 5 minutes or less on the GFG
It really depends on the size of the breast. I would suggest getting a cheap meat thermometer. Because it is being cooked on two sides at once it will cook much faster then regular grilling. It also depends on how hot your contact grill gets.
"How to Test For Doneness
The most accurate way to tell when chicken is properly cooked is with a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should reach 180°F for whole chicken or parts with bones; boneless parts should be cooked until the internal temperature is 165° F. Chicken is done if juices run clear when pierced with a fork. When in doubt, remove the chicken to a plate and cut with a knife to be sure the center is no longer pink."
This is the only way to be sure but I do recommend stabbing your chicken as little as possible because the juices will run out and you may cause the chicken to dry out.
first you have to marinade it with lemon juice and some soy sauce at least for one day, then your ready to grill, just grill each side for at least 15 minutes.
millertime..
im laughing my as s off reading your comment hahahaha
if she throws it out, how on EARTH is she saving an innocent life? the chicken is already DEAD. so now you want to just throw away the life, making its death completely purposeless?
