Is this safe to eat?!

Question: There's a pre-cooked pork tenderloin thing in my freezer with a "sell by" date of Jan 2006 - is it still safe to heat and eat if it's been frozen for almost 2 years?

No, it is not safe...Pork has the shortest shelf life even when frozen, you are taking a risk.
Just save yourself the stomach pain

No!

Among fresh meats, beef and chicken keep longest, pork the shortest. Large cuts last longer than small ones. Uncooked meats, poultry and fish outlast their cooked counterparts.

Pork lasts about 3 months in the freezer.

No, and if people try to tell you otherwise still don;t! Its not worth the risk of getting very sick. Why not go out and buy some new fresh pork tenderloin?

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!

:-) You can go on-line and find shelf-life lists that tell you how long something can be refrigerated or frozen (cooked or uncooked).

In the fridge, the safest rule of thumb is the 2-day rule. Within 2 days, eat it, freeze it, or toss it. In the freezer, it can be anywhere from 3 months up to 1 year, depending on what sort of food it is. Generally I don't like to keep any meat in the freezer more than 3 months, but that's just me.

Good thing you asked!

i don;t know.

I really don't think you can

Maybe you can, but I wouldn't chance it

Uhhm, u think ?

absolutely NO!!!!
you know what, pork got a lot of bacteria then the others. and there's a bacteria that will not freeze even under 0'cc. You may infected...
