What should i cook for tea tonight?!

Question: My girlfriend has gone christmas shopping for the day with her sister and i have been given the task of going to Tesco to buy somthing for our tea. I think that she knows i will probably just come back with 2 frozen pizza'a so i want to get somthing to show her that i put a bit of effort in to it . Any ideas what i can cook that wont challenge my limeted cooking skills too much and she will be impressed with.

Ah, aren't you canny?
Nice to see a bloke making an effort.

Right, you can buy a packet of pasta and a jar of pasta sauce which you put into a pan and heat. Lightly fry some chopped mushrooms, peppers, onions, chicken or anything else you fancy and add it to the sauce and pour over cooked pasta. Sprinkle on some cheese if you like. Also buy a garlic baguette and stick it in the oven (read instructions on packet). Serve with a nice glass of wine and something sweet for pudding and she will love you forever!

Good luck.

Spag Bol...............Mince meat, Mushrooms, Onion, Pasta, Sauce, Tomotoas Easy

Spag bol or lasagne is always great with garlic bread or dough balls.

A chicken casserole.Just bung it in the oven and you wont be slaving over a hot stove for too long.Hope you enjoy your evening.

Pasta, in cream sauce with chicken and bacon.
Cook chicken and bacon in a wok or pan with a splash of olive oil. cook pasta in a separate pan. when pasta is almost done add the cream to the chicken and bacon warm through and there you go.

cook her a s s on the kitchen table!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lovely chilli and rice
Nice to come home to after being out in the cold all day
especially with some crunchy fresh bread

Tesco do a ready cooked chicken so get that then a tin of mixed veg and some potatoes.
peel the potatoes and cut then up into 1/4's and boil in a saucepan til soft then drain, cut the chicken up and place on a plate and boil the mixed veg for around 7 Min's, serve it all up, grind some pepper over the top of the potatoes and put a small dollop of butter on the top of the potatoes , she will love it

chinese? get some chicken breasts, sweet and sour sauce in a jar, prawn crackers etc! easy peezy xxx

Well if you normally just shove pizza in the oven, get something different to shove in the oven. They do lots of ready made stuff in the Finest range that taste great and all you do is.................................... shove them in the oven!
They used to do chicken with a creamy tarragon sauce (I think), that was lovely. Get some microwaveable veg and some nice ready done potatoes to go in the oven too and there you go, nice dinner, easy to do!
Just follow the instructions on the packet.

It is Friday, so get Fish mashed potatoes and peas

A quick Beef Wellington.

Failing that, try a chilli; it's fairly quick and very easy to make. Look on the Internet for recipes and how to do it and serve with plain boiled rice.

go to their deli counter they usually do a ready prepared chicken stir fry mix so all you have to do is stick it on the pan till the chicken is cooked through and boil up some rice to go with it its very tasty and only takes about 15 Min's to cook including ur rice. or if ur store doesn't do stir fry just get some chicken fillets cut them up fry them with some veggies of ur choice (peppers and carrots are what i do) and boil ur rice and get one of those easy curry currie sauces in the sachets and viola quicky chicken curry, easy cooking and not to messy either

good luck and i hope she likes whatever u choose to make lol

why dont you buy some chicken breast and make a nice plate of chicken rice and top up with red chillies. it taste wonderful. maybe could buy ice cream for dessert.

I would get something Italian such as Pasta or Spaghetti Bolognaise, for starters you should get some sort of salad, If you can't make salad, not to worry you could go to your local Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's or Morrisons as they do Salad bar's normally close to the freezer section. Then for main course as I mentioned earlier, some sort of Pasta and not just DOLMIO get proper boiled pasta add a sauce which can be Dolmio or any sauce available then for desert you should get something sweet like treacle cake or something nice that can be heated up. Good Luck!

go to the chippy

get pasta bake sauce and add pasta.. Tuna. And sweetcorn.. Cook in hot oven for 30minutes and then add cheese and bake for 20 more minutes.. Serve with garlic bread and salad..
