What is the perfect temperature for baking chewy chocolate chip cookies?!

Question: it's not in the temp, it's in the amount of flour and how much you stir and how LONG they are baked. Use the minimum amount of time at 350F degrees. Scant one cup of the flour and stir just until mixed. (Scant means to make it just under the top.) AND, no matter what chips you use, the TollHouse recipe is the best batter recipe!

325 for 12-15 minutes

I don't think the oven temperature would have much to do with it, but more with the ingredients.

325 10-15 mins.

350 degrees for 10 minutes..mmm mmm PERFECTO! :-)

350

375 degrees for 8-10 minutes

thanks for the thumbs down, I'm only an exectuive chef with 25 years experience....what do I know?

if you want them to stay chewy longer put 1or 2 table spoons of sour cream in the batter ,per batch. Ive done this myself works.

It's not the temperature, it's taking them out just at the perfect time. If you take them out in 12 minutes, they look a little gooey but leave them on pan for a couple seconds, then you can remove and they will be soft and chewy. They finish cooking the rest of the way on the pan. Try it, just take out at the first time. If the timer is supposed to be between 12-15 minutes, take out at 12 minutes.

It is not the temp but the ingredients. More brown sugar and less white sugar will help produce a more chewy cookie as the molasses is what makes it chewy whereas the white sugar makes it more crispy.

350

350 for about 10-12 minutes

325

325, but it's not the temperature,,,,it's the timing, and ingredients!!
