I know how you feel! I have had cramps like that whenever I eat spicy foods. If it gets worse stop eatting spicy foods because perhaps you could make urself get an ulcer.

Every tummy is different, but it can really bad cramps, most likely gas that low in your abdomen. Get some warm soda and drink it, so you can burp, or drink some milk to coat your tummy and intestines. IF its not better tell someone, it could be something else and not spicy food.

yeah that's possible it could be gas, or your stomach acid is acting up trying to digest, just drink milk it will coat your stomach and just lay down for awhile, and it should go away.

Well I dont know about cramps like menstrual cramps. it gives me heartburn. But your body can react differently to it.

No, not unless what you ate was spoiled. Spicey food can cause minor heart burn, but if you have lower abdominal cramps, its more than likely a virus, unless accompnied by fever, vomitting, which could be food poisoning, or menstrual cramps, appendix issues. If its the last item, you would be doubled over and in an ER. To take the sting out of spicey food, eat something with cream cheese, or drink a glass of milk. Soda wont' do it. Water won't do it. Milk cuts the capcasin in the food. That is what makes your tongue burn. If you have heartburn, take a pepcid chewable, which will alleviate the burn in your stomach. If you think its food poisoning, get up and out as much as you can(via the bathroom), drink clear liquids, dry toast, until you can keep food down. If its really bad, go to a doctor or ER.
