If you want a really good one try this.

* 1 package (16 ounces) frozen strawberries, thawed (the kind with juice)
* 2 teaspoons cornstarch

PREPARATION:
In a medium saucepan, combine juice from strawberries and cornstarch. Cook over, medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Cook 2 minutes longer. Add strawberries and heat to serving temperature.

Do not overcook the strawberries.
Serve as a dessert sauce for pound cake, bread pudding, pancakes, angel food cake or ice cream.

buy the starwberry glaze, it's around the same area as the cake. It works fine. Mix the juice with the glaze

buy frozen strawberries and fresh strawberries
In a sauce pan add the can of frozen strawberries
heat until boiling. Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup of orange juice.

boil until 1/2 of the water has been removed.

wash and cut fresh starwberries.

Strain the boiled strawberry sauce into a bowl.

Pour sauce over cake and garnish with the fresh strawberries. Don't forget the whip cream.

2. Cooking Directions

1. Combine the strawberries, brown sugar and lemon juice in a large saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Partially cover with a lid and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries are softened and release their juices, about 10 minutes. Let cool.
2. Pour the strawberries into a blender and blend until smooth.
3. Press the sauce through a fine-mesh strainer into a storage container. The sauce will keep for up to 10 days in the refrigerator or up to 6 months in the freezer.
