Ive never cooked fresh chicken are they the same as lobsters do you cook them alive?!

Question: sure

Answers: sure

no, kill the bird first

Have you ever seen a live chicken at the grocery store? Of course not! You buy the chicken slaughtered, cut, and trimmed. They even come without bones and without skin, if you wish to pay a little extra. It's healthier that way.

Put any seasonings you like on it...a mixture or salt and pepper. Sage, rosemary and Thyme are a good mix for poultry then put it in the oven (on a pan) at 350, for about half an hour, checking at 20 mins.

It's done when it cuts easily with a knife and isn't pink inside any longer.

Bon Appetit!

Yeah and make sure to take the feathers off. And make sure not to try it with a cow - you need a really big pot. Are you really being serious with this question. I can't believe anyone would seriously think this.

Holy Moly!!!! Noooo!!!! Kill the bird, pluck the bird, take the innards out--soak it in salt water to draw out any blood. Then cook it. Better yet--let the bird go peck around the yard and have a salad!!

Awwww..... that was cute! Good one ;0)

You don't really have much of an imagination do you

OK so by fresh, do you mean alive?? that's crazy, i don't think i could kill something to eat it.. but either way, you have to cut it's head off, remove the feathers and all the giblets and what nots from inside, make sure you put in in a covered pot in the oven for about 30 to 45 minutes or until no pink is left.. good luck, but it would be easier just to buy a chicken from the super market already naked and ready to go in the oven..
