How to make nacho cheese?!


Question: NACHO CHEESE SAUCE

1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped red pepper
4 to 5 cloves garlic, minced
2 scallions, minced
1 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
2 tbsp. minced jalapeno peppers
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
nacho corn chips

Mix together peppers, olive oil, garlic and butter in a saucepan.
Sprinkle in flour, pour in milk and stir until mixture simmers -- do not allow to boil. When mixture begins to thicken, stir in the cheese and remaining ingredients, Simmer on low heat an additional five minutes or until cheese is fully melted.

Serve with nacho chips.

are you kidding? melt velveta and add rotel

Cut Velveeta cheese into one-inch cubes and put them in a bowl. Add your favorite salsa, depending on how hot you like it. Put the bowl in the microwave and heat for two minute intervals, stirring it at each interval until it reaches the creamy texrture. If you add sufficient salsa you won't need anything to thin it down but if it is too thick, add a little milk and stir it in.

I give the win to elchucko but you can also just add what you like to Velveeta,,,, Diced tomatoes onions an jalapenos is my fave,,,, this is thick so a touch of milk is needed

Nacho Dip Recipe


* 4 c of nacho cheese or 1 8 oz bag of shredded cheese
* 2 8 oz pkgs of cream cheese
* 2 15 oz cans of Hormel chili without or with beans



1. Using your 8x8 glass cookware layer the cream cheese on he bottom.
2. Then your going to want to cover the cream cheese evenly with your choice of chili.
3. Grab your cheese and sprinkle that over the chili.
4. Place the baking dish in the microwave and heat till cheese is bubbly.
