Yorkshire puddings. Have them with a roast and some potatoes/vegetables. If you can make a good Yorkshire pudding (and it's a skill), they are amazing. I personally like mine a little crispy but not hard, and with some nice hot gravy. It's a lot more exciting than it sounds like.

None, they are all bland tasting.

this is a good website

They do several extraordinary dishes.

Lamb. They raise sheep, so this is why.

Meat pie -- Steak and kidney and dozens other.

Fish & chips -- like Americans and hamburgers.

Oh, honey, pick another country! The Brits don't make flavorful foods!

I am a former chef and my family is from all over the UK, a quick meal and fun to make is either bangers and mash with a side of mushy peas, for dessert, a nice custard with cream.

If your adventurous, then "Toad in the Hole" is a nice dinner, with a side veg, and if your an experienced cook there is "Queens Pudding", custard with cake cubes baked in the oven, then a splash of jam and meringue on top and lightly browned.

A simple roast, with potatos, and veg with the roast, I used carrots, parsnips, white turnips, if you can get to the store a tin of custard and some fruit and a bit of cake or those cake shells for strawberry shortcake, it makes a nice dessert, even topped with Cool Whip, they have that now in England.

shepards pie is really good!
try that.
