Does anybody cook homemade chicken soup with adding the noodles at the very end while it cools?!
Answers: Lots of people say yo cook noodles separately and add, but I'm lazy.
I cook them at the end. Chicken noodles soup is a homey dish not haute cuisine. I don't mind if the broth gets a little cloudy or even if the noodles are a little overdone. I am not making it for anyone but me usually and I am more interested in a good flavor and something hot and soothing.
add them at the end or they will be soggy
I cook then separately. If you cook them in the soup they tend to absorb too much broth.
after your veggies are cooked throw them in for a couple of minutes. you can do either way.
Yeah. I put spring onoins in aswell. You made me hungry, ima get some out of the freezer (thats lazy, even moreso cos i didn't cook it either lol)
might make it to starchy but i like starch so go for it
I guess you could...like you make the broth then like a couple min. before its done add the noodles...I think thats how my mom does it...or maybe she does it seperately? idk... hope that helps
yea dumplings also for noodles a boil before adding noodles for 10 ...20 min then done
IM BORED
yes i do.
I'm lazier than that!! My wife loves to cook, and, crazy as it sounds in this "modern America", she loves to cook what I want, so, I'll ask her about it, and she'll fix me up some good chicken soup or chicken noodle soup. Thanks for the idea!! God Bless you.
Oh, but as to your question, I can't cook worth ****, so, I'm sorry that I have no specific answer to help you. It was just the thought of chicken noodle soup that made me answer your question. God Bless you.
Here's what I do and they always come out perfectly. I get the soup hot enough so it's just boiling and then I add the dry noodles and I also add alphabets. I stir them in and then cover the pot tightly and turn off the heat, but I leave the pot on the burner. Keep it covered for at least 10 minutes. and then serve. You will have perfect noodles everytime!
I buy the Reemes frozen egg noodles. I cook my chicken breasts with onion, carrots and celery in chicken broth. After the chicken is cooked, I take it out to cube it up and I add my noodles into the water that the chicken cooked in. When the noodles are done, I toss the chicken back in and serve.
