Turkey crown stuffing?!
Answers: I'm getting a turkey crown from the butcher who says it will be all tied up. I've never done one before. How easy is it to undo the cord and stuff the inside? Is there anything to stuff or should I just do stuffing separately? Anything other than sage and onion that's fairly easy?
If it's the first time you're cooking a turkey and it's for christmas dinner I'd cook the stuffing separately as you've got much less chance of it getting to dinner-time and finding the middle of your bird is still cold.
Just push some garlic, thyme, onion and a lemon inside the turkey and bake your stuffing in a bowl.
Try stuffing the bird when it's a much less stressful occassion if it doesn't cook properly. Remember to add the extra weight to your cooking time.
You can stuff a Turkey Crown, but it is complicated and not necessary. Make stuffing in a seperate pan. , here is a great easy, and different stuffing recipe
