Hot Chocolate recipe

3 cups milk
3/4 cup cocoa
1 cup sugar
salt

lots of simple ways like just adding hershey syrup or nestle cocoa into milk and heat, but i have found that powdered milk instead of regular milk, makes great hot chocolate :)

Hot Chocolate

10-2/3 cups instant nonfat powdered milk
6 oz. jar powdered nondairy creamer
4 cups powdered sugar
2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1 bag mini marshmallows
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir gently to mix well. Store in an airtight container in a cool dark place. This makes 17 cups of mix.
For one serving, stir 3 tablespoons Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix into 1 cup of hot water until dissolved. I prefer using hot milk in place of the hot water, for a richer and more gentle taste.

just make chocolate milk and then heat it up or buy a packet of hot chocolate mix

HOT COCOA MIX

2 c. powdered sugar
25.6 oz. box powdered milk
6 oz. jar non dairy creamer
1 lb. box Nestle's Quik
1/2 c. cocoa

Mix above ingredients well. Stir 4 to 5 heaping teaspoons into mug of hot water. Enjoy!

HOT COCOA MIX

Powdered dry milk, enough to make 8 qt.
1/4 c. regular cocoa
1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cardamom
1 lb. Nestle's Quik
1 pkg. Dream Whip
Dash of salt
6 oz. Cremora

Mix all ingredients together and store in big container. Use with 1/4 to 1/3 cup hot water. OPTIONS: Add milk to hot water, top with Cool Whip. Also mini marshmallows can be added to mix.

One east way is to buy Nesquick at your close grocery store and add some milk and through it in the microwave for about 2-3 minutes.

You can get some really nice powdered hot chocolates but when I have a treat I like to do it properly! Heat up some milk in the microwave and add some chocolate and stir it through. You don't need to put it back in the microwave as the heat from the milk will melt the chocolate.
