Do you like to put sugar in your spaghetti & meat sauce/meatballs?!

Question: I make mine sweet & spicy & put American cheese in it. It may sound gross, but if you eat it, you'll go nuts. I also put sugar & BBQ sauce in my pork & beans & rice with weiner slices, too.

Me too!

I put sugar and cayenne pepper in my spaghetti.

And for pork and beans and wieners, I also put BBQ sauce and sugar(but sometimes I use maple syrup to make a baked beans kind of flavor.

me too !

Sugar in meat sauce is blasphemy.

never tried it.

Yes i do put sugar in my spaghetti sauce

That doesn't sound good to me, but I'll try anything once.

I always put a pinch of sugar in my tomato sauce for meatballs. I put plenty of chilli flakes in too.

I put sugar in quite a lot of savoury foods, just a pinch, it brings out the flavour.

No, I do not put sugar in my sauces, but some people do to cut the acidity from the tomatoes, it helps prevent heart burn.

yes! it makes it taste better!

In my speghetti sause, I put sugar, salt, pepper, pepper seed, parsly flakes, and if my kids would eat it, I would also put onions and ground beef.

dont worry.. its delicious wid a bit of sugar!!.. its liike a secret ingredients that when u eat it u wonder hmm,, this taste, its soo!!..ummm.. xquisite!!...

ooh noo way... i like the original taste of food without any sugar or salt, unless the meal is in a terrible mixture of taste...

I'm about due for some of your spaghetti my friend. Sounds damn good to me. ?

Yes, but that's a secret! I put sugar and Ketchup in my Pork & Beans.

gross, no.

No, I prefer to eat low suggar, low fat

Yes I do put sugar in my spaghetti sauce and some ketchup! It sounds way weird I know about everyone that says that snasty and I make them try it they don't want there spaghetti any other way!

Actually, years ago I watched a talk show and Sophia Loren, an older Italian actress told how Italians always add sugar to their spaghetti sauce to take out the acidity. Well I tried it and haven't ever made it since without sugar. Its the best!

No, I do not.

Sounds like it's going to taste like Franco-American canned spaghetti (but sometimes I sneak a can of that when I want to eat like a kid)

No, but my cousins do! I don't like sweet spaghetti!

ugh....you have no right to make spaghetti with nasty recipes like that.

ADD: Baking soda cuts the acidity better and doesn't make it taste sweet.
