ah yes old one ya done now,i've a christmas pizza i serve at lunch,and it goes like this,you no how to make chilli i'm sure,bring chilli to slow boil,drain off extra oil off top'place on pizza crust,sprinky 2 kinds of shreded cheese(i like cheeter)and place in oven til bottom browns and cheese is melted,serve in squares,,,,,oven should b 450degrees

Chocolate Hazelnut Russian Tea Cakes, which are really a chocolate shortbread cookie are very good and easy to make. It is important that you toast the hazelnuts lightly in the oven before adding them to the dough. You can buy the hazelnuts in bulk and crack them open with a hammer yourself. It is cheaper than buying them in a package.

Chocolate Hazelnut is a great flavor for Russian Tea Cakes.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter, slightly softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup Dutch processed cocoa
1/3 cup finely chopped and lightly toasted hazelnuts
Powdered sugar for rolling OR melted chocolate to drizzle over the top
PREPARATION:
Preheat the oven to 350. Have silpat or parchment covered sheet pans ready. Or you can also use ungreased sheet pans.
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter until soft, add the powdered sugar and cream until smooth and light, about 1 minute. Scrape the bowl.
Gradually add the cocoa and flour, then add the nuts. Stir until evenly combined.
Scoop the dough into 1-inch balls. I like to use my #100 scoop for small cookies or #70 for small, but slightly larger cookies. Round and place 2-inches apart on sheet pans.
Bake until firm, about 10 minutes. It will be tough to tell by color as they are dark chocolate cookies. They should hold up to a squeeze and be able to be picked up gently.
If you want to roll them in powdered sugar have that ready in a bowl when they come out of the oven. Allow to stand for 1 minute, then roll in sugar while very hot. When cool, roll again in powdered sugar. OR, allow the cookie to cool and drizzle melted semi-sweet or milk chocolate over the tops.
CANDY CANE COOKIES
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. peppermint extract
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. red food coloring
TOPPING:
2 tbsp. crushed peppermint candy
2 tbsp. sugar
Mix sugar, butter, milk, egg, vanilla and peppermint extract. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Divide dough into halves. Tint 1 half with food color. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Take 1 teaspoon dough from each half and shape each into 4 inch rope by rolling back and forth on floured surface. Place 1 red and 1 white rope side by side; press together lightly and twist. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, curving down top of cookie to form handle of cane. Bake for 9 minutes and immediately sprinkle with topping mixture.
CHEESY CORN AND POTATO CASSEROLE
2 cans corn
1 can cream style corn
2 large potatoes, chopped in 1/2 inch cubes and parboiled or
2 cans cubed new patatoes
1 can cream of mushroom soup mixed with can milk
1 cup finely grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups French fried onions
salt and pepper to taste
Mix the 3 cans corn with the soup, milk and potatoes until all is coated with mixture. Add 1 cup French fried onions and most of the cheeses. Set aside a bit for garnish on the top of casserole. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Bake at 325°F in 9x13x2 glass or metal pan for 20 minutes. Sprinkle remaining French fried onions and cheeses on top and bake another 10 minutes.
