How long can cooked chicken stay good in the fridge?!

I'm not for certain, I use the general rule of thumb nothing over three days. However though, if you want to keep it longer seal it up in ziploc freezer bag or wrap it in paper, etc. and freeze it to keep longer. Then just throw in the microwave and reheat!

I usually throw it out after the fifth day.

It tastes ok for about 3 days. After that it tastes old. I'm sure you could go 5 days without it hurting you.

Three days is about the max you can keep cooked chicken or turkey in the fridge. You can always freeze it after it's cooked, but just keeping it in the fridge, you're better off eating it before the 3 days is up, or tossing it if it's any older than that!

the health department ( Wisconsin)specifies that all prepared food must be used within 7 days from when it was first prepared or it must be disposed of. That is what restaurant operators need to adhere to.
