Do you guys think I can fill deviled eggs using a baggie with the corner cut off?!
Answers: I used a ziplock bag with one corner cut off to fill my deviled eggs Thanksgiving and it worked great.
Absolutely. The baggie method is great not just for that, but also as a stand-in when you need to pipe stuff for desserts too!
I don't see why not. Pretty creative if you ask me.
YES !
I do it all the time !
works great .and its cheap .
yes
yeah
That is usually how I do it! Just don't cut to big a hole in the corner. When will the eggs be served? I like me some deviled eggs!
Works fine, just make sure you don't get too big of a hole, or use the cheap bags that split...not pretty when they do!
of course. this is a VERY VERY old standby...
You can use a baggie, it would be slow to pipe but pipe slow because the baggie would BURST!
EDIT: Remember the split half the baggie with a twist and pipe half way.
I think it might work. Take care.
i would get some kind of tip to put inside the corner of the bag to make it look better on the egg but it wold probably work.
Yes
Works great, but I would use a piping tip for a neater appearance.
That's how I learned how to do it.
ziplock bags are sweet for that
Definitely. Being used a lot now by restaurant kitchens as well.
However, if you want them to look fancy and you don't want to use your pastry bag you can still use the metal tip to insert into your plastic bag. The metal tips can provide a nice touch to the shape of the egg mixture when you squeeze it onto the egg white base,
yes using the baggie is a great idem.
the Idea is about 20 years old
including the metal cone for texture and forms..
