What is a good main dish to serve with Potato Pancakes?!

Question: My mother in law gets back from the hospital after a hip replacement, and my sister in law and I would like to make dinner. I really really want to make potato pancakes, but I don't know what to make with them. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Grilled or baked pork chops

A good tenderloin roast...pork or beef...with gravy and cut into medallions is a good choice. Serve with homemade apple sauce. I also suggest carmelized onions, carrots and beets. If you don't know how to carmelize veggies, learn how. It can turn a boring meal into an amazing one.

how about beef brisket (traditional ) or you could have pork chops or pork tenderloin.

The tradditional accompniments to potato pancakes (call them Latkes if you want to be fancy) are sour creal and applesauce, the thick chunky kind if you can get it.
