What should I make to go with Ham and dressing on Christmas?!

Question: My mom is bringing a green bean casserole. I was thinking about an easy sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce, maybe some deviled eggs and rolls. Please share ideas and easy recipes.

Home-made baked mac and cheese...especially if you'll be serving children! Cheers!

sweet potato

Sound very good so far. How about a side salad or a creamed cabbage?

potato salad or mashed potatoes w/red eye gravy (made from the ham juices) -

Yes, the sweet potato casserole is great. I have to have something sweet with the ham. But since I make the sweet potato casserole for Thanksgiving. I switch up and make candied yams to go with the ham for x-mas. I think creamed spinach is wonderful. My son always request eggplant parm for x-mas.

Roasted redskin potatoes or a hashbrown/cheese casserole would be good too. Fruit salad is always nice with ham--especially if there is pineapple and citrus fruit in it.

Bourbon mash. Sweet potato, butter, and a cap full (or more if you prefer) of ol' No. 7 for flavor.
