probably around 8 and also make sure you use 2 for the roof lol

8-10? Cake frosting would be good- but smear some on a plate or something and leave it out at room temp for a bit to make sure it dries out...

The Betty Crocker brand icing I bought from the store for gingerbread cookies didnt dry out so i wouldnt recommend it for gluing together the sides- so you know- if you want to keep the house edible!

ummm 3 boxes

The person above me is incorrect and has plagerized. The correct ammount of regular graham crackers would be 58.

six...
four walls and two sides on the roof..
I made these once, they were awesome.
cake frosting for sure!

ginger bread houses are not made of graham crackers!

Five. Four for the walls and one for the flat roof. The frosting is the thing that the second grader is looking for. Go for a graham cracker shed filled with frosting.

Royal Icing works better & you can add whatever flavorings you like.
You can make this with egg whites & powdered sugar or use Wilton's Meringue Powder, the recipe is on the can.
You can get this in the craft section of Wal-Mart.
Party City & Michael's also have this product in stock.

GET TWO BOXES IN CASE YOU WANT TO PUT AN ADDITION ON THE HOUSE. I WOULD GO LIGHT ON THE FROSTING BECAUSE YOU DONT WANT TO GET THEM USED TO EATING A LOT OF SUGAR UNLESS YOU USE SPLENDA AS SWEETNER OR SOMETHING SIMILAR. WHAT A NICE IDEA TO MAKE A GINGERBREAD HOUSE.!!!

buy 100 crackers, and yes, frosting will be great to hold things together & stick candies on it.
