Try a dopiaza - it has lots of onions in it, and doesn't have to be too spicy! Very tasty.

Mutton Tikka

Ooooh can i come i love a homemade curry but my husband hates it so we never have it....a nice Madras not too hot tho!

This is my favourite ever home made curry:

yum yum yum

I'm sure you could do it with chicken as well - but maybe reduce the second cooking time to 20 minutes...

try chicken korma its great

cut ur chicken up place in the pan cover in curry powder and chopped onionsleave in the fridge for 2-3 hours then add garlic salt n pepper pour in a can of chopped tomatoes place on the hob for a hour and half there you go home made curry and its lovely if you go for this enjoy cos my gf and kids love this 2

Chicken Madras is good but don't add too much spice if you're making it from scratch.

If you're buying a tub of korma/tikka type sauce from a supermarket then they usually have a chili pepper on the packaging to show 1 chili pepper = mild, 2 chili peppers = medium, 3 chili peppers = hot.
