Does any one know how to make the penguin cookies that they sell at starbucks?!

Question: My thought is that they are sugar cookies covered with white chocolate, So how would you cover the cookies with the white chocolate without making a huge mess?

We don't have Starbucks where I live, but it's just coincidence that just tonight I made some cookies similar to this. Mine were two Ritz crackers, with peanut butter in the middle, then dipped in Almond Bark, which looks like white chocolate. You buy it at the grocery store (very popular this time of year), and melt it, then dip whatever you want in it. You can melt it in the microwave, or just put it in a saucepan on low on your stove. When I dipped my peanut butter sandwich crackers, I dropped one sandwich in the melted almond bark, then I used a very large fork (a meat fork) and gently turned the sandwich over a couple of times in the melted almond bark, then took it out (with the large fork) and put it on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. When the cookie sheet was full, I sat them in the fridge just long enough to "set up". They are delicious!

Those are pretty much shortbread cookies with a lot of frosting!!

Try this shortbread recipe and add whatever you want to them! They are super easy and yummy!!

NGREDIENTS:

* 8 ounces butter (2 sticks), room temperature
* 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients; use hands to knead until ingredients are blended. Press into ungreased pans (or chill and roll out to about 1/2-inch on a floured board and cut into shapes). Bake at 325° for about 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Cut into wedges while warm or break apart.

Cut in whatever shape before baking and melt white chocolate and dip and let dry...its really not that messy!!!
