First get one of those three ring binders. Then you need to get those clear page protectors with the holes cut out. Finally,if you want, you can get those tabs and write categories on them ,like appetizers, breads, pastas, side dishes, and desserts. You can do a separate carigorie for parties and special occasions too.You can also decorate the cover with scrap book paper!Have fun!Merry Christmas:o)

Go to cookbooks, cans and such like your mom

I bought a photo album and page dividers (the ones with the outside tabs). I categorized them into meats, salads, cookies, etc.. The clippings go in like photos and are protected by the plastic covering. Or you can print them off and put them in a 3 ring binder, using the same dividers.

You can get her a photo album - the kind where you slide the pictures into the sleeves.

Another idea is to buy a three ring binder and some clear protective sleeves at your local office supply store.

If you're really ambitious, you could try either scanning the recipes for her and printing out a nice cookbook or retyping the recipes individually and printing one out. Several on-line photo processing sites (like Kodak, Adobe, or Apple) have templates that allow you to create books.

You can make your own cookbook out of scrapbooking supplies. I am just including these links so you can have an idea of what a scrapbook cookbook might look like:

Good luck! I've wanted to do something like this for a long time.
