Answers: Like they said, milk, bread, sauteed onions , except add bacon strips, not just bacon grease. Use the extra thick style bacon and cook well. It caramelizes with the onions and is yummy.
You either like liver or not. You can't make it taste good if you don't.
A good way to make it is to dredge it in flour then saute it with onions. Season with salt and pepper.
It just aint' going to happen if you don't like it,,,it is a strong taste and for some reason,,,,my DH gets sick just thinking about it even being in the house..LOL>..so I have to eat it in resturants if I want it.....but my Mama always rolled it in flour and fried it,,,took out the liver,,,,,,then she would add onions to the skillet and brown them,,,,pour off some of the grease,,,,add the liver back to the pan,,,,pour over some hot water,,,maybe a cup,,,turn heat down to low and let it cook until the gravy thickens,,,,,I l love it cooked that way...and of course mashed potatoes on the side...
Soak the liver overnight in milk to make it more mild and to tenderize it. Then flour and sautee it with onions like another poster mentioned. Don't forget the bacon grease!

I love liver! I have to soak it in milk for a few hours first. Then coat with seasoned flour and fry, with lots of onions. And of course fried taters to go with em! yummy
