Just cut in two lengthwise. remove the seed, which is like a golf ball. Then, scoop out the flesh and cut into cubes or whatever shapes you like. You can make guacomole, Cobb salad or whatever takes your fancy. ENJOY! {:-)

Avocado's aren't cooked. You just cut them in half, take out the pit and prepare it any way you want. Your can chop it up and put it in salad. Make guacamole: Mash it up with a fork. Add garlic power and some lemon juice. Salt and pepper. Delicious!!

Avocado is NOT cooked. Serve it chilled, straight from the fridge. It has to be a fairly firm avocado...but NOT hard, and not too soft. What you do is cut it all the way around length wise, break in half, take out the pit using a spoon, and scoop the avocado out of the skin using the spoon and slice...

add soymilk and brown sugar
it is soo good try it =]

sweet and simple =]

Generally, you don't cook advocados, I think it makes them angry and they turn brown. Just cut it in to two pieces and pry the seed out (I usually use a spoon or fork). From there you take the peel off of it and slice it. A little lemon juice will also help keep it from turning brown for a little while longer.

Avacado eaten as is ... When buying the flesh has to be slightly soft when pressed .. then u know they are ripe .. Just cut in half and peel // just remove the centre stone.. can be eaten as is but loads of things you can do with them .. they will go off like a banana or like an apple if left peeled in the air ... if you tossed in some olive oil and some lemon juice .. cracked perrer and some salt .. yum .. use them in pastas .. salads ..

Uncooked recipes follow:
To make guacomole out of them
mash it up into a fine paste, then add salt, and if you like lemon.
I enjoy more just mashing it up in a bowl and adding in hard and chunky blue cheese.
Note that the avocado has to be soft to the feel - ignore the peel outside, it could be black but the avocado just fine. Or it could be bright green but the avocado soft.

To remove the seed:

Stick a sharp knife straight into the seed. Twist the knife handle and lift the knife out. The seed is stuck on the end of the knife.

Anyone who likes avacadoes had best buy and eat lots now... as Avacado trees are
being cut down right now due
to San Diego rationing their
water.
Guess we will have to pay the price for Peruvian avacadoes.
to eat an avacado: slice all the way around (lengthwise) with a sharp knife, all the way
down to the pit. Open up
and take knife and hit pit with sharp edge, twist and pull out.
(Don't cut yourself)
take a paring knife and score
inside of peel into slices.
Take a large spoon and scoop
out the slices. Serve with
mayo or salt and pepper.
A little lemon juice.

buy avocado cute it up take out its seed or whatever it is cut it up mix it in blender with cut up tomato and onions and put oil and lemon it's really good as a dip
