Any good rice krispy square recipes?!
Answers: Yah i know...there easy to make but I have no idea about measurements and such. I need enough for about 30 people or so. And if you have anything original to add that would be great. Cheers! Happy holidays!
It's not really the recipe but how you make them. Here are my tips and tricks. Folks are constantly asking me for my recipe for Rice Krispy Treats. They are really great. But, it's the details that make them taste better than others.

RICE KRISPIES DATE SQUARES
8 oz. pkg. chopped dates (the kind I've used is a box of chopped dates that are coated with sugar)
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar
Cook dates, butter and brown sugar together in saucepan over medium heat until almost smooth (no need to boil it).
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Add cereal and nuts and mix well until all is coated with cooked mixture. Press firmly into buttered square pan. Cool. Cut into squares and coat with powdered sugar.
I just put some powdered sugar into a plastic bag, drop in a few of the squares, shake the bag and remove the coated squares. Tap slightly to remove any excess sugar.
