How do you know when the center of a pancake is cooked through?!
Answers: Very easy. Watch the bubbles. When bubbles start to rise to the uncooked side of the pancake wait until they pop and do not fill in with dough. Works all the time.
put a knife into the middle, if there is any liquid on it keep cooking
if both sides are golden brown, and the pancake is about 1/4 an inch thick, the middle is done.
when the center starts to bubble, flip it.
check how dark the cooked side is.
leave the pancake down for as long as you had it for the other side.
put a toothpick through the centre... if it comes out clean, it's cooked.
STICK A KNIFE IN IT IF IT IS WET OR STICKY TO THE TOUCH GIVE IT ANOTHER HALF A MIN OR SO
puor each cake in pan, and when bubbles break through surface it's time to flip them. Usually a minute depending on how hot the pan is. Merry Christmas!
Yes, I do agree with the person telling you to go with a knife..
But before using a knife or a fork to punch it and finding out their no liquid ...ys this is telling you it's enough cooked..but
you will see before..let it cook in matter to see the color is changing..getting lighter as the side of the pankake and than when you dont see any dark in the center ,,tht means it's cook..than pook up with a fork or knife..but dont wait too much because it's will be tooo cooked.\

But you know a pancake is not a steak., you can turn it once and twice and so on...untill it's like you want it...but as the guy previously told you....with a knife or a fork,,when it's coming back clean., no more liquid this is ready... also you can just toutch it with your finger,,and you will feel it well., and very easy when it's cooked the way you want it...more you will do easier and faster you'll find out ...bon appetit..
The way to cook a pancake is to look for it to bubble throughout and the flip it over for just a while longer. The bubbling indicates that the heat is going throughout. Once you flip it, it just cooks the otherside and it should be done. It does take a little practice.
