If a recipe calls for a roaster chicken breast BUT they only?!

Question: had whole chickens(same size) in the supermarket...will the recipe come out the same?

Not exactly. You would be better off getting plain chicken breasts (they are pretty much the same as roasters, but somewhat smaller and not as plump) instead of trying to use a whole chicken. The whole chicken will cook at a different rate than just the breasts since you will have the dark meat and the bones with the whole chicken. If you do end up using the whole chicken, just make sure that the temperature has reached 180° F when you stick the thermometer into the fold by the thigh.

have you tryed going to a diffrent market

It depends a great deal on the rest of the recipe, but it will be very similar in the end.

Here's something important to remember: Cooking is art. You can barely make any mistakes. Add what is good and you cannot fail.
Baking, on the other hand is science, you cannot substitute very much at all...

yes it come out the same however, make sure not over cook otherwise it will dry out.

its according to the recipe but from the info you gave I guess it would ...add info on what the recipe is maybe I could be of more help...
