Can I cut up a fresh suede and freeze it or will it go soggy?!

Question: I have a massive suede that I have used some of to make a stew. Can I freeze the rest if I cut it up, or will it go funny?

blanch it first then freeze it thats what i do

Cook it first, then cut, removing the skin and seeds and webbing, then freeze the left overs.

Would that be a suede shoe or a suede handbag?
